The Rings and The Ring

As EXPLO-RING MUSIC demystifies the "Ring Cycle" of Wagner this week, you may want to do some exploring on your own to find out a bit more about the interplay I mentioned today between Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings" and Wagner's cycle.

It's easy to do your own web search (using various combinations of Wager + Tolkien + ring), but here are some interesting links to get you started going round and round with the "Rings" (It's enough to make you stand in a circle and loudly sing, "Rheingold! Rheingold!" )
