From live concerts recorded in 1993 and 1995, Pierce plays the Piano Concerto No. 1 by Brahms with the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, Bratislava, and the Burleske for Piano and Orchestra by Richard Strauss, with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, Prague.
