"Leon Fleisher - Mozart Piano Concertos" - Leon Fleisher, piano & conductor, with Stuttgarter Kammerorchester. Fleisher's first two-hand concerto recording in over 40 years features Mozart's lovely concertos nos. 12 & 23, and the two-piano concerto No. 7 with his wife, Katherine Jacobson Fleisher at the other piano. "Mahler: Symphony No. 4" - Budapest Festival Orchestra; Ivan Fischer, cond. Another in what's turning out to be a really wonderful series of Mahler recordings with Fischer and the Budapest Festival Orchestra, with soprano Miah Persson featured in the final movement. (Channel Classics 723385261094 / CCS SA 26109)

"Journey to the New World" - Sharon Isbin, guitar. Isbin is back, on a new label with a collection of mostly folk or folk-inspired music. Includes "Andecy"by Andrew York; "Joan Baez Suite," composed for Sharon Isbin by John Duarte (with Baez singing on two extra folk songs, "Wayfaring Stranger" and "Go 'Way From my Window") and "Strings and Threads Suite" by Mark O'Connor, with O'Connor accompanying on violin. "Come, Thou Font of Every Blessing - American Folk Hymns & Spirituals" - Mormon Tabernacle Choir. A new collection of Americana from the group that's been doing this for years, arranged by mack Wilberg and Moses Hogan.
