Classical Music for Children
We here at Public Radio Delmarva are committed to introducing classical music to as many people as possible, especially children.
While there may or may not be a "Mozart Effect", classical music is a natural fit for children. It expands the attention span, fires imaginations, and is just plain fun. Plus, classical radio is always family friendly and never vulgar or inappropriate content-wise.
We've added a new program to our Sunday Family night line up. Beginning April 5th, you can hear Classics for Kids at 7PM. Classics for kids is an entertaining 6 minute program which highlights a different composer each month.
Be sure to explore the Classics for Kids website as well. They have games, lesson plans and plenty of tips for introducing the children in your life to classical music.
